| Organization Description | Techbridge Girls is an award-winning leader and innovator in informal STEM education. We champion equity in STEM and fair access to economic opportunity for all girls, no exceptions. With locations in California, the Pacific Northwest and the Washington, DC Metro Area, Techbridge Girls designs and delivers the best-in-class STEM programs to K-12 girls from low-income, under resourced communities. To scale its impact across the U.S., Techbridge Girls trains educators who are working in marginalized high poverty communities to deliver its unique brand of gender and culturally relevant curriculum. Since 2000, Techbridge Girls has trained over 7,000 girls, 20,000 educators, 1,400 family members, 1,500 role models and 1,000 volunteers. Techbridge Girls has reached an additional 70,000 students through its proprietary, National Science Foundation-certified STEM lessons. | |
