| Organization Description | The Los Angeles Valley College Family Resource Center (FRC), is an award winning unique model of a public/private partnership, and the first and only Family Resource Center on a community college campus in California.
Since 2005 the FRC has led the effort to support student parents in higher education. The FRC has since grown to support other vulnerable populations such as food and housing insecure students and workforce participants going through short-term training. All services are delivered using a two-generation philosophy that looks at the whole-family when addressing barriers and opportunities. |
