| Organization Description | Economic Mobility Pathways (EmPATH), formerly Crittenton Women’s Union, has developed an intergenerational economic mobility demonstration project that builds pathways towards economic independence for low-income adults while achieving educational readiness and success outcomes for their children. The program has partnered with the low-income parents of children being served at a new learning center outside Boston, MA. The strategy is built on the concept of co-investment, so families assess their level of motivation and commitment to program participation before services are offered. They have also released a paper on coaching, a key design component for many successful 2Gen programs. |
