Organization Description | The largest Latino and immigrant organization in Maryland, CASA has leveraged their U.S. Department of Education Investing in Innovation and Promise Neighborhood grants, along with Ascend Fund resources, to implement Learning Together, a two-generation, place-based parent engagement initiative to build parents’ skills, confidence, and social capital to foster their children’s early literacy. They are now evaluating and refining the family literacy component and planning for additional parent cohorts. |
